Conservation of Energy
Made possible by a FORECAST public arts grant, this 2010 project at John Marshall High School in Rochester, Minn. not only helped to beautify the hallways but also involved the student body in its making, teaching them the ins and outs of creating stained glass. (Details in the video below.)
As the first-ever work of Unnasch's career applying a technique he developed for incorporating vintage glass dishware into a stained glass window, Conservation of Energy was a pivotal and groundbreaking work.
