This vibrant stained glass window installation by Karl Unnasch for White Bear Lake Public Library was installed in late Summer of 2015.
Each of the four panels represents one of Minnesota’s distinct four seasons while also featuring one mammal, one bird, one insect, one plant and one tree native to the region. Situated in the children’s play corner of the library, the panels not only beautify but also serve as a seek-and-find puzzle for the library’s younger visitors.
Of course, the elusive “white bear” is also represented in the imagery — but only the keenest will find him! . .

Still can’t find the White Bear? A final hint:
“The White Bear is around all year, but turns his back on winter and sniffs at spring while ambling through summer and fall.” |
